ADVANCING REFORMS IN THE JUDICIARY – TOWARDS RESTORATION OF CITIZENS’ CONFIDENCE IN THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM

The Blueprint Group for Judicial Reform is organizing a conference titled “Advancing reforms in the judiciary – Towards restoration of citizens’ confidence in the judicial system”.

The conference will be held on March 29, 2022 at 11am, in hybrid format, in the Aleksandar Palace Hotel and online via the ZOOM platform.

The conference is organized on the occasion of the Macedonian Judiciary Day (March 31, 2022) as the final event of the project “FOR JUSTICE – Monitoring the implementation of the Judicial Reform Strategy in 2021”, supported by the Open Society Foundation – Macedonia.

The purpose of the conference is to encourage debate between judicial institutions and civil society organizations in order to identify measures necessary to restore citizens’ confidence in the judicial system in anticipation of the start of the preparation process of a new strategic document for reforms in this field.

Key findings and conclusions from the Shadow Report on the implementation of the Judicial Reform Strategy in 2021, which was prepared by the Blueprint Group, will also be presented at the conference.
